Gourikwa Power Station is seeking an experienced Instrument Mechanician to maintain and repair all control and instrumentation equipment. As an Instrument Mechanician, your responsibilities will include performing preventative and corrective maintenance activities by safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and preventative maintenance plans. You will attend meetings to discuss and coordinate maintenance tasks, ensure equipment safety and personal safety at all times, and carry out any other necessary activities as required by the department.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing control and instrumentation equipment, as well as an N3 qualification and Trade Test in Instrumentation.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

Qualifications:

– N3 and Trade Test in Instrumentation.

Experience:

– A minimum of 2 years of related experience in maintaining and repairing control and instrumentation equipment.

– Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate within a team and across various departments.

– Basic Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
