Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience within a retail, financial, or banking environment OR a relevant tertiary qualification if you have no experience.

Ideal Candidate:

• Over a year’s client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• A demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Ideal or Preferred:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field.
• Certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge:

Minimum:

• Understanding of basic calculations and the retail/consumer service environment.

Ideal:

• Knowledge of Capitec Bank Products and internal business processes and procedures.
• Understanding of organisational policies, including Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).

Conditions of Employment:

• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Must have detectable/identifiable fingerprints on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
