Work Description:

The practical training will primarily occur at the factory workshop in Johannesburg, as well as at the relevant Eskom power stations. We will also consider the individual’s location during the selection process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Apprentice applicants must complete a minimum N3 or NCV Level 4 qualification in the relevant field of application.
• They must also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• The recruitment process shall be guided by the employment equity plan of the organization. People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
• The bulk of the mechanical positions are linked to a 4-year Eskom contract; preference will be given to individuals who originate from the following areas: Volksrust, Amersfoort, Witbank, Middleburg, and Delmas.
• We will subject applicants to further assessments, including pre-employment medicals, criminal verifications, and psychometric assessments (if applicable), in accordance with company policies and procedures. We may also request a vaccination certificate.
